NeighborRelief receives Ohio Governor’s support via Executive Order

Governor’s Office supports NeighborRelief with $50,000 for TANF-eligible Families

Governor DeWine’s Executive Order 2020-39D authorizes the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (“GOFBCI”) to expend up to $13,285,000 during Fiscal Year 2021 on Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (“TANF”) allowable expenses. GroundWork group, the creators of the NeighborRelief platform, was one of several Franklin County organizations awarded up to $50,000 to be used to provide TANF-eligible families in Franklin County with basic needs. These funds will be used to directly support TANF recipients through the NeighborRelief direct fundraising platform.
